The Bessemer Process transformed steel production by allowing the mass production of high-quality steel at a lower cost. It revolutionized several industries including construction, transportation, and manufacturing.

New methods of extracting oil, including using drills, spurred the development of new oil refineries. This increased the accessibility of oil which stimulated its widespread use for lighting, lubrication, and fuel. 

New industrial technological innovations, including the incandescent light bulb, Bessemer Process, and methods of extracting oil transformed manufacturing and boosted America’s role as an industrial powerhouse.
