Viewing them positively, some call industrialists like Andrew Carnegie, John D. Rockefeller, and J.P. Morgan “Captains of Industry.”

This view highlights their visionary leadership and how it contributed to massive economic growth. Some argue that their wealth also benefited society through job creation, investments, and innovative technologies and business practices which resulted in expanded markets and prosperity.
